The client fills out a robust survey, provided by Emily, which serves as chance for Emily to get know the clients and their needs better. All communication during this step will be done via e-mail.

Perform an initial in-person walkthrough of the space(s) with client.

Combine the design vision with the clients wants and needs. Emily will create a project mood board that visually communicates the design goals along with a floorplan (if applicable) Together, a final budget will be finalized.

Emily will work alongside the client’s contractor and/or tradesmen to ensure we can meet the design vision and finalize a budget. Three contractor meet-ups are included in the package.

Be involved as much as you like while sourcing design details (think tile, flooring, cabinets, lighting etc). The client can join Emily on-site shopping and sourcing, OR Emily can do this on independently and simply provide a final design to the client.

Implement the design plan by working closely with the client. A design board showing all final product selections will be included as well as links to all of the items suggested for the design. One to two follow up in-person meetings will be included to go over selections, look at swatches if applicable, etc.

The client and contractor will have a hand-off of the final plan and selections. Emily will check in with the contractor and monitor progress as the project is executed.
